The glasses connect to a compatible smartphone through the VIVE Connect app. Available with transparent, sunglass or photochromic ZEISS lenses, VIVE Eagle suits different indoor and outdoor settings. The transparent option uses clear ZEISS UV400 Blue Light Blocking lenses. Choose it for indoor work and everyday use when you do not need a sunglass tint. "Transparent" describes the lenses; the frame is black.
The sunglasses use tinted ZEISS UV400 Sunglass Lenses to reduce bright outdoor light. Choose them for outdoor appointments and business travel. Their tint does not automatically change with UV exposure.
The photochromic option uses ZEISS UV380 AdaptiveSun lenses. Their tint adjusts with UV exposure, darkening in stronger UV and becoming lighter as exposure decreases. Choose them for changing light conditions; the tint adjustment requires no app or manual control.
Round, called Pantos by HTC, has a rounded lens shape. Square has a more angular shape. Choose the frame that fits comfortably and suits your preference; both are available with all three lens types.
