What a hub adds to display glasses
Display glasses are passive: they take video and power from whatever they are plugged into and give nothing back. The XREAL USB-C hub and VITURE USB-C hub break that dependency by inserting a powered path, so the glasses show the screen while the phone or laptop charges. On a long journey or a full day of client visits, that is the difference between a working tool and a demo.
Each hub is matched to its own brand of glasses. The host device matters more than buyers expect: the USB-C port has to output video, and plenty of otherwise capable laptops and phones do not. We check that against the exact machines your team uses before quoting, because a hub cannot add a capability the port never had.
Cables, spares and fleet logistics
Keep correct-spec USB-C cables in the kit as spares. Display glasses need a cable that carries video as well as power, and the identical-looking charging cable from a drawer will produce a blank display and a support ticket. Labelling the correct cables at issue costs nothing and removes a recurring class of call from the service desk.
Order one hub per user who works away from a desk; staff who dock at a fixed workstation rarely need one. Connectivity is usually specified together with input and control hardware, since a virtual screen is only productive if there is something to type on.
