Captioning and translation on glasses

The wearer reads the conversation as it happens, either as captions in the original language or translated into their own. Nobody passes a phone across the table and nobody waits for an interpreter to be booked, which is what makes it usable in a factory walkthrough or a supplier visit rather than only in a meeting room. Two buyers usually arrive at this page. Accessibility and HR teams want captions so deaf and hard-of-hearing staff and visitors can follow a meeting unaided, which is an inclusion commitment with an obvious operational payoff. International and customer-facing teams want translation for site visits, service calls and negotiations where a shared working language does not exist.

Software layer or on-device translation

Some AI glasses translate on the device itself, which is enough for everyday multilingual exchanges and needs nothing extra to license. Dedicated software is the better fit when you need the widest language coverage, sustained captioning through a long meeting, or accessibility support you can stand behind in a policy. Before licensing, check two things. Connectivity, because live captioning leans on cloud processing and coverage on a plant floor is often the real constraint, and data handling, because recorded speech from meetings is what your DPO will ask about first. We license translation software with the glasses and the rest of the software range, and will demo it in a room with your own accents, noise and language mix.
